The Hotel Maintenance Manager oversees all property operations, ensuring the building, infrastructure, and equipment (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are safe, functional, and well-maintained. They lead the engineering team, manage budgets, direct preventive maintenance programs, and handle renovations or repairs to ensure a high-quality guest experience. Full-time, weekend, and some holiday availability required. Responsibilities: • Maintenance Operations: Directs daily maintenance tasks, manages the preventative maintenance (PM) program, and ensures all equipment operates efficiently. • Leadership: Supervises, trains, and schedules maintenance staff (technicians/janitors). • Safety & Compliance: Inspects property regularly to meet health, safety, and fire regulations, including pool/spa maintenance. • Budgeting & Purchasing: Manages the maintenance department budget, controls costs, and orders parts or supplies. • Vendor Management: Coordinates with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs. Qualifications: • Experience: Proven experience as a Hotel Maintenance Manager or Supervisor (typically 3–5 years). • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. • Education: High school diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree or certification in engineering/HVAC is preferred. • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Typical Tasks • Fixing guest room issues (leaking pipes, broken AC). • Inspecting public areas and guest rooms. • Maintaining an inventory of tools and parts. • Reviewing maintenance work orders. • Managing energy conservation initiatives Compensation: $20 Hourly
