    Job Description

    As a Hotel Maintenance/ Mechanic II, you perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the property’s facilities and equipment and to ensure a safe and functional environment for the Hotel guests!

    What you will be doing:

    • You will be responsible for handling the general maintenance and repairs in the entire hotel including guest rooms, meeting spaces, public areas, kitchens, hotel perimeters & heart of house.
    • In addition you will perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and kitchen equipment; as well as HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing where possible.
    • You will be responsible for, and be proactive in, reporting deficiencies and areas needing repair according to hotel reporting procedures.
    • You will complete maintenance work orders from all departments on a timely basis.
    • Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on property’s facilities and equipment and take immediate corrective action where possible.
    • Assist guests regarding property facilities whenever possible.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Your experience and skills include:

    ●HVAC certification a plus. Strong technical skills encouraged. Knowledge in areas like plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and HVAC systems.

    ●Passion for delivering personalized customer service and a strong commitment to creating the desired guest experience for all.

    ● Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills. An ability to work under pressure while maintaining a sense of poise and professionalism.

    ● A positive, can-do, team player attitude. A strong desire to support and assist your department and other hotel colleagues, and help them navigate and overcome roadblocks and obstacles.

    ● A desire to learn and grow and a fast paced, chic, exciting environment!
