Room Inspector
We're looking for a detail-oriented Room Inspector to lead our housekeeping quality control and help deliver a clean, welcoming experience for every guest. In this role you'll inspect guest rooms, support the housekeeping team, and keep our property running to a high standard. If you have an eye for detail and enjoy leading a team, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness and quality, making sure each one meets our standards before it's ready for guests
Mark rooms ready for occupancy and keep room status accurate in the computer system and on the board
Make sure rooms, linens, carts, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas are stocked and set up correctly
Lead daily pre-shift meetings, check uniforms, and direct the floor team
Report room and common area issues—structural, equipment, or plumbing—to maintenance, write up work orders, and follow up to completion
Train the team on safe, proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, including labeling, storage, safety gear, and safe lifting
Assist housekeeping and houseman team as needed
What We're Looking For
At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in a hotel, motel, or similar setting (recent experience preferred)
Experience with inspections or quality control, plus some leadership experience
Knowledge of housekeeping policies and procedures
Comfortable coaching and directing a team
Basic computer and phone skills
Able to manage and prioritize a busy workload
Friendly and professional, even with difficult guests
Must be at least 21 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
