Seeking applicant with previous hotel front desk experience for alternating second and third shift. Must be reliable and have your own vehicle for transportation. Responsibilities: • Process guest registrations, including collecting payments and deposits • Handle any Guest issues to provide the best Guest Service Satisfaction • Front desk staff work cohesively with Maintenance and Housekeeping staff/supervisors • Able to communicate with the General Manager to resolve any payment or guest room issues • Respond to guest needs, special requests, and complaints, and alert the appropriate manager as needed • Perform nightly duties, including running night reports • Maintain room status inventory of clean/dirty vacant rooms • Communicate all pertinent shift information to the changing shift and the General Manager • Able to keep track of out-of-order rooms and follow up with maintenance on any repair issues • Maintain and clean the lobby and bathrooms as needed Qualifications: • Must have at least 2 years of Hotel Front Desk Experience • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent • Must have your own reliable transportation • Must be professional and able to handle guest situations as needed • Must be computer literate/Synexis experience a plus • Must be able to operate basic office machines, i.e., copier, fax, scanner, printer • Must display good organizational and time management skills • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle guest situations with problem resolution • Must be able to stand for long periods of time Compensation: $11 hourly
