Job Summary
Holiday Inn Brookfield, WI is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Night Auditor to provide exceptional overnight guest service while completing essential accounting and audit duties. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth overnight operations, accurate financial reporting, and a safe, welcoming environment for all guests.
The Night Auditor handles late check-ins, responds to guest needs throughout the night, balances daily financial transactions, prepares end-of-day reports, and maintains compliance with IHG brand standards. Strong multitasking abilities, accuracy, and professionalism are essential. Your goal is to provide outstanding guest care while ensuring all night audit tasks are completed precisely and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist guests during overnight hours with friendly, professional service.
Manage check-in and check-out processes using the hotel’s PMS system accurately.
Perform nightly accounting tasks, including posting charges, reconciling accounts, and balancing room revenue.
Prepare and distribute required night audit and financial reports per IHG guidelines.
Monitor hotel safety and security, conduct property walks, and follow emergency procedures when necessary.
Answer phones, respond to guest inquiries, and handle reservations and modifications.
Coordinate with housekeeping and morning staff regarding room status and guest needs.
Ensure lobby and front desk areas remain clean, organized, and welcoming.
Adhere to IHG brand standards, policies, and quality expectations at all times.
Qualifications
Previous night audit or hotel front desk experience preferred; accounting or cash-handling experience a plus.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in English; additional languages beneficial.
Strong computer literacy and ability to learn PMS/IG systems.
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor.
