Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, positive, and experienced Hotel Operations and Sales Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel in Pueblo, Colorado.
Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel including front desk operations, housekeeping, maintenance, guest services, and financial performance. This role requires a hands-on leader who can ensure excellent guest satisfaction while maintaining efficient operations and strong team leadership.
The ideal candidate will be organized, customer-focused, and capable of managing staff, resolving operational issues, and ensuring the property meets brand and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee all daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance
Hire, train, and supervise hotel staff while maintaining a positive work environment
Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and service quality
Monitor hotel performance including occupancy, ADR, and revenue goals
Manage budgets, expenses, payroll, and financial reporting
Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and company policies
Respond to guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for maintenance and operations
Prepare operational and financial reports for ownership/management
Qualifications
Previous hotel management experience required
Experience supervising hotel departments such as front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance
Knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to resolve guest issues with a customer-focused approach
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required
Schedule Requirements
Hotel operates 24 hours a day / 7 days a week
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and respond to operational issues when needed
