    Are you a customer-focused, detail-oriented professional looking for a rewarding seasonal opportunity in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine? Witham Family Hotels is seeking a Full-Time Seasonal Hotel Reservations Agent to join our dynamic Central Reservations Team.

    In this important role, you'll assist guests by answering questions, booking and modifying reservations, and delivering a seamless, friendly booking experience across multiple properties.     You'll support reservations for the following properties:

    • Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Event Center
    • Bar Harbor Motel
    • Acadia Inn
    • Bar Harbor Grand Hotel
    • Bar Harbor Villager Motel
    • Bayview Hotel

    Position Details:

    • Status: Full-Time, Seasonal spring through fall
    • Location: Onsite at the Bar Harbor Inn and Spa (not a remote position)
    • Wage: Starting at $18/hour
    • Schedule: Shifts vary and include evenings, weekends, and holidays

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Answer incoming guest calls and emails regarding availability, rates, and property details
    • Accurately book and modify reservations in the system
    • Deliver exceptional customer service by handling inquiries and special requests professionally
    • Collaborate with front desk teams to ensure reservation accuracy
    • Stay informed about property promotions, policies, and local events
    • Process payments, cancellations, and booking adjustments
    • Manage group reservations and unique booking needs efficiently
    • Address and follow up on guest concerns promptly
    • Perform other duties as needed

    Skills & Requirements:

    • Previous hospitality, reservations, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
    • Comfortable using computers and learning reservation systems
    • Positive, team-oriented attitude
    • Reliable and flexible with scheduling

    Performance Measurement:

    Success in this role will be measured by guest satisfaction, accuracy of reservations, responsiveness, teamwork, and overall contribution to a positive guest experience.
