You will be in charge of developing our sales strategy and revenue objectives, training and assessing our sales employees, and ensuring that we create new and recurring business across various hotel sectors. Responsibilities: • Establish strategies to assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives • Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts that may include phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and members of your personal network • Evaluate information gathered from market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables, hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales forecast • Report on sales activities for the previous and future weeks in meetings with department leaders, and prepare a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenditures • Coordination with the management team and department heads in designing and implementing sales strategies to achieve high occupancy and profitability Qualifications: • Exemplary communication skills, leadership skills, and analytical skills • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality field, is required • Knowledge of computer-based software such as Microsoft Word and Excel • Must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field • We prefer someone with prior hospitality experience but is not required Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000
