Responsibilities: • Generate new revenue by using a targeted outbound sales strategy that includes personal calls in your network, phone solicitation to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups or corporations • Establish strategies to assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives • Report on sales activities for the previous and future weeks in meetings with department leaders, and prepare a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenditures • Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets, designing marketing plan deliverables, and developing an annual sales forecast • Coordination with the management team and department heads in designing and implementing sales strategies to achieve high occupancy and profitability Qualifications: • Exemplary communication skills, leadership skills, and analytical skills • Displays a proven track record of sales success by lead-generation and closing • We prefer someone with prior hospitality experience but is not required • Must be able to use basic computer software including Microsoft Office • Must have relevant experience of 5+ years as a sales professional, preferably in the hospitality field Compensation: $75,000 - $82,400 yearly
