    The Director of Sales in hospitality is responsible for leading the sales , developing strategies to increase revenue, and ensuring that sales targets are met.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to increase occupancy and revenue for the hotel. This includes targeting specific markets such as corporate, leisure, or group clients.

    Team Leadership: Manage and lead the sales leads, and ensuring achieve these objectives.

    Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

    Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, including corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies, to secure bookings and contracts.

    Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and service delivery.

    Performance Tracking: Create and maintain sales reports to track performance against goals and adjust strategies as necessary.

    Qualifications

    Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a strong background in the hospitality industry.

    Education: A degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field is often preferred.
