Courtyard by Marriott Mobile Daphne/Eastern Shore is seeking a Hotel Sales Manager. Marriott experience is preferred, as well as knowledge of the local corporate market. As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will lead all daily sales-related functions with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable the achievement of sales objectives. This will include accountability for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities, detailing and ensuring that all business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Responsibilities: • Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue goals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with our brand values and drive business growth in Baldwin County. • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local corporate clients, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service. • Proactively identify new sales opportunities and develop tailored strategies to capture market share. • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials that resonate with our target audience. • Ensure seamless communication and coordination with the operations team to deliver outstanding guest experiences. • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge in the hospitality industry. Qualifications: • Experience in hotel sales management, preferably within the Marriott brand. • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and community partners. • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the hospitality industry. • Strong understanding of the Baldwin County corporate market and its dynamics. • Ability to coordinate sales efforts with off-property channels effectively. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to drive customer loyalty and satisfaction. • Proficiency in generating proposals, writing contracts, and managing customer correspondence efficiently. Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 yearly
