  • Responsibilities

    The Hotel security guards act as vital protectors of guests, staff, and property. Their primary duties include conducting regular property patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, enforcing access control, responding to emergencies like medical incidents or fires, and de-escalating conflicts to maintain a safe, welcoming environment. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities: • Patrols & Surveillance: Routinely walk the premises (corridors, parking lots, and perimeter) to deter criminal activity and spot safety hazards. Continuously monitor security cameras and alarm systems from the command center. • Access Control: Restrict unauthorized individuals from entering staff-only areas, guest floors, and restricted event spaces. • Emergency Response: Serve as the first responder for fires, medical emergencies, and severe weather. This includes initiating evacuation protocols and performing CPR or First Aid. • Conflict Resolution & De-escalation: Diffuse tense situations, handle intoxicated or disruptive individuals, and escort trespassers off the property. • Guest Assistance: Assist guests with lockouts, safe escorts, locating lost property, and inquiries while maintaining a highly professional hospitality demeanor. Operational DutiesIncident Reporting: Document all daily activities, irregularities, accidents, and breaches of policy. Detailed written reports are required to protect the hotel from liability. • Asset & Property Protection: Safeguard both hotel assets (cash handling areas, registers, equipment) and guest valuables in coordination with housekeeping and front desk staff. • Liaise with Law Enforcement: Act as the primary point of contact for local police or fire departments, ensuring all protocols and legal requirements are met. Qualifications: • Prior experience in a security-related position, ideally in the similar industry. Compensation: $17 - $17.50 hourly
