Job Description
Houdini Inc., based in Fullerton, CA, is looking for Staffing Specialists to join the team for our upcoming season.
Please note: this is a seasonal/temporary position (with full-time hours) set to go through December 2022.
OVERVIEW:
- The Staffing Specialist is responsible for interviewing all potential new hire and rehire candidates for General Labor positions.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Staffing Specialist will assist with various administrative functions to include but not limited to:
- Screening candidates at job fairs
- Sourcing and screening candidates over the telephone, databases, social media, etc.
- Screen candidates resumes and job applications.
- Conduct interviews using various tools and methods.
- Conduct new hire orientations as needed.
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
- The position will also carry out additional HR and administrative functions as needed.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge such as: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of ADP desired.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Typing & data entry skills (at least 30 WPM)
- Knowledge of general office duties (filing, faxing, and copying)
EDUCATION:
- High School diploma or equivalent
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven work experience as a Staffing Specialist.
- Staffing agency experience highly desired.
- Previous HR, general office and or administrative experience.
- This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check.
