We are seeking a dynamic manager to lead staff in a home supporting adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Cascade Residential Care offers in-home residential support services around the clock to indviduals residing in our homes in Albany, Oregon.

    In addition to managing and supporting approximately ten full and part-time staff in the home, the manager is responsible for ensuring that each individual living in the home can find fulfillment in setting and acheiving goals related to the social, physical, and financial, educational and employment aspects of their lives. The manager helps coordinate health care needs and maintains records as required. This position requires flexibility to work across a variety of shifts within the home and to provide on call-support as needed. As a result, the successful candidate should reside within 20 miles of the home.

    The ideal candidate will posess a high degree of organization skills with strong administrative abilities. The ability to use technology in a business environment is a must. A manager should be skilled with multi-taking and creating systems in place to track and report the status and progress of tasks. The homes are licensed and inspected by the State of Oregon to ensure care is provided as required. Previous experience in working in a licensed, 24-hour group setting with both medical and behavioral needs is highly desired. A successful manager will be self-directed, know how and when to ask appropriate question, possess the highest level of integrity and ethics, be able to build and strengthen a team, and contribute to a small leadership team charged with providing the best possible support for those we are privleged to serve.

    Some of the additional requirements/responsibilities include: • Pass Criminal background check & Drug screening • Perform frequent lifting and bending (50lbs) • Posess current, valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record • Possess, or obtain through paid training, CPR and First Aid and OIS certification • Read, write and speak fluent English • Document, observe, respond to and report supported individuals' needs

    • Follow all safety and security procedures and adhere to agency policies and state regulations • Operate personal computer i.e. word processing and email software • Oversee care and maintenance of home and company vehicles

    • Ensure a safe and sanitary environment • Coordinate schedules and activities for persons in the home
