House Manager/Personal Assistant in Raleigh, NC
Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Raleigh in finding a Full-Time House Manager/Personal Assistant. The Assistant would typically be needed Monday - Friday,10:00 am - 6:30 pm, 40 hours a week (with a 30-minute lunch break). The ideal candidate will be flexible to check in in the evening and on weekends.
The best House Manager/Personal Assistant would be detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to support a couple and assist with administrative and operational tasks for their nearby small business. This role requires excellent communication, strong critical thinking and planning skills, and the ability to anticipate needs while creating efficient systems that simplify day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is adaptable, proactive, able to build organization systems that the family can efficiently upkeep, and multitask/pivot quickly. This role will take place at their office and at their home. It is required that the candidate have their own smartphone and laptop.
Key Responsibilities
Personal & Household Support
Run errands, grocery shop, and manage household essentials and personal care products.
Manage laundry and linens on a consistent schedule, including putting away clothing and washing delicates and hand-wash items
Keep the home neat and tidy
Keep household and apartment supplies stocked without prompting
Schedule medical appointments and vehicle maintenance
Pack for trips and ensure wardrobes are prepared for travel
Coordinate and manage home service vendors, including sourcing new vendors when needed
Office & Business Support
Manage office vendors, including cleaners, maintenance, and sourcing new vendors when needed
Maintain inventory of office supplies, snacks, water, and cleaning products
Run business-related errands and complete small operational tasks
Manage receipt collection and ensure all receipts are scanned and organized in Google Drive
Keep office space tidy, including washing dishes
Administrative & Systems Management
Book and manage appointments, travel, and services efficiently
Create and maintain easy-to-follow systems to streamline daily operations
Anticipate family and business needs and take initiative with minimal direction
Communicate clearly and effectively with the team
Remain flexible and responsive as priorities shift throughout the day
Pets:
The family has 2 cats that currently live at the office. The Assistant will be asked to schedule vet appointments, book pet sitting, and pick up medication, but will not be expected to provide direct pet care on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
Have at least 3 years of professional experience
Have a college degree or equivalent experience
Have a professional resume

Have a valid driver’s license
Have safe and reliable transportation
Have a minimum of three professional references
Be non-smoking/vaping
CPR and First Aid Certified
The Assistant should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

Legal pay is offered at an hourly rate of $30-$35, depending on experience
Continued pay while the family is away
