Job Summary:
Must be able to write reports and demonstrate the ability to organize and properly document that which is required by regulation and by Virtuous Inc. Must also demonstrate an understanding of human rights and assure that residents are afforded these rights. Must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Virtuous’ philosophy and demonstrate the ability to teach Virtuous’ methods and philosophy to others. This position assists the Program Manager in the overall operational oversight of the assigned homes within our community residential programs.
Qualifications:
At least two (2) years of college and/or three (3) years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
Must have a valid driver’s license along with (2) years of driving with a good driving history/no more than 2 points.
Successfully pass a background check and pre-employment screenings, including drug screen if applicable.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the guidance and supervision of the Program Manager [PM], provide overall support and supervision to Direct Support Professionals [DSP]
Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Person-Centered Plans.
Provide support and guidance to program participants to ensure:
the home, appliances, and equipment are safe, operational and in good working order;
program participants are engaged in meaningful activities of their choice; and
the rights of program participants are protected.
Assist the program participants with monthly menu development, bi-weekly activity scheduling, meal preparation, housekeeping and room maintenance, personal care, laundry and other activities of daily living.
Ensure DSP’s are implementing the Person-Centered-Plan as written.
Preparing appropriate documentation and reports as assigned.
Purchasing groceries as needed to ensure items are at the home for meal preparation based on the menu.
Ensuring program participants are afforded the opportunity to purchase personal items of their choice.
Reconcile and monitor MAR to ensure documentation is present and accurate.
Ensure household supplies are in the home: trash bags, paper towels, hand soap, etc.
Conduct environmental audits on a weekly basis and reporting any urgent matters to the PM.
Identify and report barriers in service delivery.
With the assistance of the Program Manager, the Program ensure that all shifts are filled.
