Job Summary:
We are looking for a person willing to work as a houseperson. As a Houseperson, you will play a key role in supporting the housekeeping team and ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our guests. You will assist with delivering supplies, maintaining public areas, and helping Room Attendants meet cleanliness standards throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobby areas, and public restrooms
Deliver linens, amenities, and other supplies to guest rooms and Room Attendants as requested
Remove trash and soiled linens from guest floors
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
Respond promptly to guest and team member requests with professionalism
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage closets and housekeeping areas
Assist with deep cleaning projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous hotel or janitorial experience preferred but not required – we're happy to train the right candidate!
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
A strong work ethic and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed
Friendly and professional attitude with a desire to support a team
