About the Role:

Assisting Hands - Matteson is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our caring team in Matteson, IL! Responsibilities:

Perform general housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping

Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common living areas

Change bed linens and assist with laundry tasks

Organize and tidy living spaces to maintain a safe and clutter-free environment

Follow client care plans and adhere to specific household preferences and routines

Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors regarding any concerns or changes in the home environment

Maintain cleaning supplies and report when items need to be restocked

Requirements:

Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or home care experience preferred

Ability to follow detailed instructions and care plans

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor when working with clients

Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client locations in the Matteson, IL area

Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods

Must pass a background check
