Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable, initiative-taking Certified Medical Assistant with a cheerful outlook to join our team! This position entails assuring the daily operations of the medical department are maintained while promoting quality of care to clients through assessment, medication management and direct client care.

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

· High School Diploma/GED required.

· Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) required.

· Two (2) years’ experience as a Medical Assistant or EMT.

· Experience in residential treatment setting preferred.

· Strong organizational and people skills.

· Strong attention to details.

· Ability to work with a diverse population.

· Computer skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinates admissions with Admissions department and obtains admissions orders from physicians.

Monitors client’s administration of medication.

Coordinates emergency medical care for medical and psychiatric emergencies.

Ensures documentation on all clients meets company and regulatory standards.

Coordinates with COO to keep all informed occurrent departmental activities, plans, and developments through both oral and written reports.
