    Job Description

    The Merchandising Manager leads and manages merchandising initiatives and projects across the U.S. House of Rohl business. This role will deliver on defined scope, timeline, and budget while working with the internal and external cross-functional teams. This includes responsibility for planning and overseeing the deployment of Merchandising go-to-market strategies by supporting key product launches, strategic initiatives, identifying project scope, developing timelines, providing status reporting, leading risk mitigation and prioritizing the day-to-day tasks across several functions. The ideal candidate for this role will effectively and strategically manage these initiatives to drive customer engagement in the showroom environment.

    • Act as a shared resource for the internal Marketing Communications Team supporting product commercialization and initiatives 
    • Deliver and plan the Merchandising portfolio of projects and expenditure annually
    • Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop accurate and complete project specifications, and take each assignment through to completion
    • Serve as the primary leader of all merchandising initiatives
    • Proactively manage expectations regarding all production activity and logistical tasks including the communication of design requirements with vendors
    • Manage and implement special projects as assigned to include process improvements, project management tools and software tracking, and in-house operations; lead continuously improvement efforts and gain efficiencies across the organization
    • Support forecasting and collaborate with leaders across the organization; report spend variances to budgets/forecasts and merchandising operations leadership throughout the lifecycle of projects
    • Ensure merchandising is delivered on time and on budget, while recommending efficient, time-saving project production flows
    • Manage the workflow and work closely with logistics on all tactical/executional aspects of merchandising
    • Manage analytics and reporting of weekly overview to identify impending due dates and new project requests
    • Develop and track project plans from hypotheses, design and conduct analyses, and track progress
    • Is responsible and accountable for accurate order management and planning
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Business Administration or a related field is required
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing to include a minimum of 3 years of project management experience and/or experience leading cross-functional efforts involving multiple linkages across an organization
    • Ideal candidate has experience working with external partners and  has worked with or alongside an in-house creative team and/or marketing communications team
    • Must have a strong understanding of merchandising, production processes and vendor management
    • Proficiency in software applications such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word
    • Strong organization, communications, and coordination skills; must be very detail-oriented
    • Demonstrated understanding of process management principles, including strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects from multiple stakeholders
    • Demonstrates perseverance in pursuit of business, group and personal objectives
    • Demonstrated ability to track, analyze and interpret business inputs and data
