We are seeking an Assistant Finance Controller to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensure timely monthly closing of financial statements, validation, accrued and prepaid expenses, reconciliation of all balance sheets and other key accounts.

· Review daily bank reconciliation statements prepared by overseas accounting team.

• Oversee and coordinate financial activities of personnel directly reporting to this position
• Develop and maintain financial operations: successfully complete all periodic audits and related activities conducted by the independent auditor or others.
• Develop financial and tax strategies
• Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
• Oversee the issuance of financial information
• Understand and mitigate key elements of the company’s risk profile
• Set controls and budgets to mitigate risk and increase return on investments and organize financial records
• Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques
• Conduct internal audits to assess financial status
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors and bank auditors
• Maintain relations with the external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited university
• Seven plus years of experience working in distribution/ manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• C.P.A. a plus, but not required.
• Strong analytical ability.
• Public accounting auditing experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• Hindi or Urdu speaking, preferred
• Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent MS Excel skill with familiarity of advanced formulae like vlookup, sumifs, macros, pivot table etc.
• Working knowledge of MS Power Point.
• Prior experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP is required.
