Housekeeper – Full Time Village Health Care at The Glen

The Glen Retirement System is currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our team in our Long-Term Care Community, Village Health Care at The Glen. If you take pride in keeping spaces clean, organized, and welcoming, we would love to hear from you!

Schedule

7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Rotation: 4 days on / 2 days off

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas

Sweep, mop, and maintain floors

Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and surfaces

Sanitize resident rooms and bathrooms

Empty trash and replenish supplies

Perform deep cleaning and room preparation for new residents

Report maintenance needs and supply shortages

Maintain housekeeping equipment and follow cleaning schedules

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping experience preferred

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Organized, dependable, and self-motivated

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
