Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
- Complete all assigned guestrooms daily.
- Vacuum/shampoo carpet/clean floors/mop room.
- Dust/polish furniture.
- Change linens and replenish all amenities for bathroom/kitchen.
- Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, and counter tops.
- Follow guidelines for proper chemical use. Do not mix chemicals and only use as instructed. Follow hotel safety standards and only use hotel approved chemicals.
- Inform Lead Supervisor or Head Housekeeper of housekeeping supplies to be ordered.
- Inform Lead Supervisor of maintenance deficiencies or mechanical problems.
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Skills:
- Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
