  • Responsibilities

    Private family seeks a versatile and personable Housekeeper to assist with the daily care and upkeep of their residence in Monroe, NY. This is a live-out position in a dynamic, growing household where professionalism and discretion are key, but the environment is relaxed and not overly formal. The ideal candidate is hospitality minded, adaptable and detail-oriented, with a strong knowledge of deep cleaning services in addition to primary housekeeping duties. Must be extremely reliable and have a “no task too big or too small” attitude with the ability to work independently, as well as with a team! This is a full-time, year-round position consisting of a Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility and availability to work extended hours and/or weekends if necessary.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • All aspects of general housekeeping and deep cleaning of residence
    • Willingness to run errands including dry cleaner, groceries etc.
    • Procurement of household supplies, maintaining inventory lists and stock levels
    • Wardrobe maintenance and organization
    • Assisting with packing and unpacking for moving and travel
    • Management and organization of all closets, pantries, and storage areas
    • Laundry duties such as washing, ironing and folding linens, towels, and clothing; managing items sent out for professional care
    • Additional Housekeeping duties as needed and requested

    Requirements:

    • Strong command of English language; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
    • Minimum 3 - 5+ years related experience working in a similar role for a private family where the utmost discretion is required
    • Experience in four or five-star resorts a PLUS
    • Ability to perform museum-quality cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (wood, glass, leather, antiques, silver, etc.)
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    • Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities
    • Valid Driver’s License required
    • Legally able to work in the United State
  • Compensation
    $65,000-$73,000 per year
