The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the facility. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks, and ensuring that all areas are properly sanitized and well-presented to enhance the comfort and satisfaction of guests and residents.
- Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including but not limited to guest rooms, restrooms, common areas, and hallways.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and wipe down surfaces to maintain a tidy environment.
- Change bed linens and replenish towels and toiletries as necessary.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with disposal guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and notify management when supplies are low.
- Assist in special cleaning projects as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest inquiries professionally.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina; able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
