Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Duties: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in assigned areas such as resident apartments, guest rooms, common areas, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Linen and Supply Management: Change bed linens and towels, replenish supply items (soap, toilet paper, etc.), and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.
- Deep Cleaning Projects: Participate in regular deep cleaning projects, such as window washing, carpet cleaning, and other seasonal tasks as assigned.
- Reporting Issues: Notify supervisors of any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
- Guest Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
- Adherence to Policies: Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Organizational Skills: Maintain an organized cleaning cart and report any missing or damaged supplies to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
