Housekeeper/Spa Attendant Position Classification: Part-Time

For more information visit them at woodhousespas.com. Woodhouse Spas are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Spa Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will guarantee guests receive optimal services by executing support responsibilities that ensure the smooth flow of operations. You will be the backbone of the spa’s atmosphere, maintaining a sanitary facility and ensuring our guests always have fresh linens and a pristine environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. ● Is a steward of the Woodhouse brand and abides by all established protocols. ● Maintains all location laundry needs, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stain removal. ● Ensures the spa is stocked with fresh linens, robes, and textiles at all times. ● Performs general cleaning tasks including sweeping, scrubbing, mopping (hardwood, laminate, tiled floors), and vacuuming. ● Manages waste disposal by emptying receptacles daily to avoid odors and sanitizing bins as needed. ● Monitors supplies and replenishes paper towels, toilet tissue, and hand soap dispensers daily.
● Supports hospitality by ensuring glasses, teacups, and utensils are washed and returned to storage. ● Reports repairs and replacements to management immediately when encountered.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE ● Basic education regarding the responsibilities and duties of the role is required. ● Experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred. ● Detail-oriented and organized mindset with the ability to follow verbal commands. ● Strives each day to exceed guest expectations through a commitment to cleanliness.
LANGUAGE SKILLS ● Must have effective verbal communication skills. ● Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and team members regarding facility needs. ● Ability to follow multi-step instructions and safety protocols for cleaning chemicals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS ● Must be physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk for the duration of an assigned shift. ● Must have the ability to stand for long lengths of time. ● Must be able to lift and carry laundry bundles and cleaning equipment as needed.
