Position Overview
John Boner Neighborhood Centers is seeking a Housekeeper to help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces across our offices and housing properties. This role performs routine cleaning and facility upkeep while supporting a positive environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The position works closely with the Housekeeping & Grounds team and travels regularly between JBNC properties.
What You’ll Do
- Clean and maintain offices, classrooms, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and surfaces.
- Empty trash and remove debris from indoor and outdoor areas.
- Clean windows, walls, doors, and other building surfaces as needed.
- Restock supplies and notify staff when inventory is low.
- Assist with meeting room setups and facility organization.
- Support occasional grounds work and property upkeep.
- Travel between JBNC properties and occasionally drive JBNC vehicles.
- Provide friendly and professional service to staff, residents, and visitors.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and climbing stairs or ladders.
- Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks efficiently.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of housekeeping or janitorial experience.
- Experience cleaning a variety of facilities such as offices, residential units, or community spaces.

Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time, Non-Exempt
- On-site with travel between JBNC properties
- Typical hours: Monday–Friday
- Occasional on-call availability may be required for emergencies.
