Position Summary The Mountainside Inn Housekeeper will perform a combination of cleaning duties to maintain guest rooms in a clean and orderly manner and to the highest quality standards.
Essential Job Duties
After guests and owners depart, clean the units, including bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms, according to the standards of quality set by the Mountainside Inn.
Strip and make beds and replenish linens.
Vacuum, dust, and clean carpets, upholstered furniture, blinds, and/or draperies.
Empty and transport trash and safely use brooms, mops, and other cleaning equipment and products.
Set up unit amenities for guest and owner arrival, including shampoos, soaps, etc.
Perform seasonal deep cleans of units and Mountainside Inn as directed
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Requirements EDUCATION: High School Degree or GED EXPERIENCE: Hospitality operations experience preferred, with at least one year of housekeeping experience. REQUIRED SKILLS: Organized, strong attention to detail, ability to perform job duties with minimal oversight, ability to communicate effectively with others. PREFERRED SKILLS: Bilingual English/Spanish, knowledge of housekeeping safety guidelines. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs., climb stairs regularly, lift, twist, bend, stretch, and stand for the entire shift.
