    ****Position Overview and Responsibilities

    At Sentral, we are building a team of people-first focused individuals who thrive on going above and beyond. The Housekeeping Attendant will perform day-to-day cleanliness of the building and its units. Overall duties will include removing debris, cleaning interior and exterior areas of the community, maintaining common area amenity spaces, sweep, mop, cleaning vacant apartments and responding to all cleaning emergencies.

    T his is an in-person position located on-site of the property.

    What You'll Do:

    • Uphold Sentral's standards, best practices, policies and procedures, and value of excellence in customer service
    • Clean all common amenity areas including bathrooms, fitness center, community lounge, and the rooftop deck
    • Clean the pool lounge
    • Clean hallways, stairways, parking garage and elevators
    • Place safety hazard signs in the building including wet paint and wet floor signs, when appropriate
    • Monitor bathrooms for cleanliness
    • Replace used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap
    • Respond to any major spills or other cleaning crises
    • Remove trash from trash rooms
    • Clean Units - make the beds, kitchen, bathrooms, toilet, sink, counters, mirrors, walls, and baseboards - using cloths, mops, sponges, and brushes
    • Change soiled linens on beds and remaking beds following the property standards, when needed
    • Maintain housekeeping cart and stocks supplies
    • Clean rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom or carpet machine
    • Keep all common area clean, neat and free of debris and trash while following department standard and operating procedures
    • Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, vacuum, and polish the floor
    • Receive supplies and stocks storage in a neat, organized manner
    • Help with inventories
    • Handle and store chemicals in line with Sentral regulations and any local legislative requirements
    • Help with heavy lifting and special cleaning projects as directed
    • Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
    • Handle any tasks assigned by the management as and when needed
    • Prepare to execute all duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner
    • Perform other related duties and assignments as needed and assigned

    _Skills and Experience _

    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in verbal and written English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
    • Ability to understand proper use of equipment and cleaning agents
    • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, highly responsible & reliable
    • Prioritize and organize work assignments, have timely follow up with execution
    • Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience is an asset
    • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
