The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for residents and staff at Alice Manor Nursing Home. They will perform daily housekeeping and cleaning tasks to ensure the facility meets established sanitation and hygiene standards.

• Cleaned and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, and related areas, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Maintained the cleanliness of common areas such as hallways, dining areas, lounges, activity rooms, and public bathrooms.
• Performed laundry duties, including collecting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and residents' personal clothing.
• Collected bagging, and disposing of trash and replacing trashcan liners.
• Performed various floor cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Adhered to all safety and infection control procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and waste disposal.
• Reported any maintenance issues or needed repairs to the supervisor.
• Worked effectively as part of a team and communicating professionally with residents, family members, staff, and visitors.
