    We're looking for a houseperson with excellent people skills who is motivated and attentive to provide our guests with a memorable experience at our hotel. We need a multi-talented individual who can perform a variety of tasks. Responsibilities include keeping public areas (both interior and exterior) clean, such as hallways, parlors, the parking lot, and walkways. You will also make deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, and complete any special projects as directed by the management team. Depending on outstanding tasks/to-do lists, you may be required to clean rooms during your shift. This is a part-time position with shifts ideally in the afternoons from 2 pm-6 pm or 3 pm-7 pm, approximately 2-4 days per week. Schedule is dependent on occupancy - some weeks you may have two shifts, and in the next you may have 4. Weekend availability, specifically on Friday and Saturday, is a must! Our ideal candidate has one or more years of previous experience in a houseperson or housekeeping role, and a strong commitment to excellent customer service. Responsibilities: • Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring, lobby, and other work areas • Anticipate, listen intently, and respond quickly to visitors' requirements to provide the best quality of service • Retrieve clean linens from housekeeping storage facilities and distribute them to each floor • Deliver requested amenities such as rollaway beds, cribs, blankets, etc. to guest rooms • Begin each shift by visiting assigned floors and collect trash, dirty linen, and other materials as instructed by management Qualifications: • Must have 1 or more years experience as a houseperson, housekeeper, or similar position in hospitality field • Graduated high school, received GED or equivalent • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality • Solid work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills • Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs - in terms of bags of trash and linen. • Ability to walk up/down stairs CONSISTENTLY. We have 4 houses with guestrooms, and each house has 3 floors. There are NO elevators. Compensation: $16 - $17 hourly
