    Job Description

    Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness, maintenance and set-up standards, as well as to verify status according to Fairmont standards. Communicate throughout the day with housekeeping and other departments to ensure total guest satisfaction. Dual responsibilities as opening Linen Clerk coordinates the work assignments for housekeeping staff including but not limited to room attendants, housemen, lobby attendants, laundry attendants and turndown attendants, each day and answering guest and colleague calls and dispatching work tickets appropriately; responsible for the day to day office operations for the housekeeping department.

    Summary of Responsibilities:

    Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

    • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
    • Inspects guestrooms to Fairmont Standard
    • Standing and walking throughout the day
    • Linen Clerk Duties also assigned
    • Answering phones in a courteous, professional manner
    • Computer knowledge
    • Printing daily reports
    • $34.04 per hour

    • Previous experience is an asset
