  • Responsibilities

    The housekeeping inspector is responsible for examining guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure they meet strict safety, hygiene, and brand quality standards. They identify cleanliness flaws, report maintenance issues, and guide housekeeping staff to deliver a welcoming, comfortable environment. Responsibilities: • Room Inspections: Conduct thorough, systematic checks of vacant and departing guest rooms to verify cleaning quality, proper linen placement, and overall presentation. • Quality Control: Ensure all areas strictly comply with brand SOPs and state health regulations. • Defect Reporting: Identify maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing leaks, broken fixtures, damaged furniture) and coordinate with the engineering or maintenance team for timely repairs. • Staff Guidance & Training: Coach and train room attendants and housekeepers on proper cleaning techniques and the safe use of chemicals. • Supply & Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels on cleaning supplies and linens, assisting with inventory counts and distribution. Qualifications: • Experience: Typically 1 to 3 years of experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a related cleaning and supervisory role. • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds on a daily basis. • Attention to Detail: A critical eye for spotting dust, stains, and missed cleaning tasks. • Communication Skills: Strong ability to relay room statuses, performance feedback, and maintenance requests to other departments.
