Join Our Team at Embassy Suites by Hilton Lubbock – Now Hiring a Housekeeping Inspector! We’re looking for a detail-oriented Housekeeping Inspector to help oversee daily housekeeping operations. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting guest rooms, supporting the housekeeping team, and ensuring cleanliness standards are consistently met. Additional duties include hands-on cleaning, staff training, and maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction. Responsibilities: • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, carpets, drapes, and furniture for cleanliness, damage, stains, or wear • Check and count linens and supplies, and record inspection results • Make sure cleanliness conditions are met, and that cleaning personnel meet quality standards • Report lost and found items, maintenance problems, or special room problems to a supervisor • Adjust guests' complaints, communicate with other hotel departments, and notify cleaning personnel of inadequacies • Supervise team members, such as guest room attendants, housemen, and lobby attendants • Prepare work orders and requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements • Help with budget control by supervising employees' use of supplies, equipment, and linen, and perform cleaning duties as needed Qualifications: Housekeeping inspectors should have expertise, leadership, good observational skills, decision-making, and time management.
