    We’re hiring a Housekeeping Manager responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, presentation, and upkeep of all guest rooms and public areas. This role includes managing day-to-day operations, supervising a dedicated team, and upholding the highest standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction. Due to the hotel’s remote location, on-site lodging is provided as part of the compensation package. This position requires a hands-on leader with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to motivate and support a diverse housekeeping staff. Responsibilities: • Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily • Document areas cleaned by room attendants and report any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests to the front office • Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and make arrangements for repairs as needed SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Lead the housekeeping team in maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards across guest rooms and public spaces. • Manage hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations for all housekeeping staff. • Maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment; ensure timely reordering. • Coordinate room status and priorities with the Front Desk to meet guest needs. • Enforce safety, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols in accordance with OSHA and company policies. • Address guest feedback and housekeeping-related concerns in a timely, professional manner. • Monitor departmental expenses and labor costs to ensure budget adherence. • Conduct regular room inspections and staff training to maintain quality standards. • Collaborate with maintenance to identify and resolve room deficiencies. • Report regularly to the General Manager and assist with operational planning as needed. Qualifications: • Must possess excellent leadership, organizing, and customer service skills • A High school diploma or GED is required • Extensive knowledge of environmental services (EVS), including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • 3+ years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role. • Strong leadership and organizational skills. • Proficient in managing teams, training, and scheduling. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Spanish language proficiency preferred (or fluency in both English and Spanish strongly desired). • Proficient with basic technology and property management systems. • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods. • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. Compensation: $65,000 salaried
