Other duties may be assigned • Acknowledges and greets guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly greeting • Cleaning of hotel rooms, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms, the lobby, and common areas • Perform quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time limits • Comply with all safety guidelines • Pick up ground litter around the hotel or wherever visible • In addition to cleaning duties, hotel housekeepers may also be responsible for shared duties, such as delivering beds to guest rooms, replenishing toiletry supplies, and lifting and moving lightweight objects around the room • To work as a hotel housekeeper, candidates will need to have a strong eye for detail • Housekeepers must also work in a team environment Responsibilities: • Document rooms cleaned, and report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed • Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby • Clean and arrange hotel rooms in accordance with our hotel’s standards prior to guest arrival • Reply to general questions guests have during their stay • Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and do other cleaning duties as assigned • Must be available to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts Qualifications: • Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products • Over 1 year as a professional housekeeper strongly desired • Graduated high school, received G.E.D or equivalent Compensation: $15 hourly
