  • Responsibilities

    The housekeeping supervisor coordinates and directs cleaning staff to ensure facilities remain clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. They manage shift schedules, inspect guest rooms and common areas, train new employees, and monitor inventory to maintain an adequate supply of linens and cleaning products. Responsibilities: • Staff Management: Create work schedules, assign specific rooms or zones, and conduct daily team briefings. • Quality Control: Inspect rooms and public spaces to ensure they meet the organization's sanitation and aesthetic standards. • Training & Coaching: Onboard new hires, provide continuous training on safety protocols, and address performance or behavioral issues. • Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels for cleaning supplies and linens, track supply usage, and submit orders when inventory runs low. • Guest Relations: Address customer complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally to ensure high satisfaction. • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate with the maintenance team to report and track repairs, and communicate room statuses with the front desk. Qualifications: • Leadership & Delegation: Ability to manage and motivate a team of 10-15 housekeepers while holding them accountable. • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to ensure efficient room turnover and handle unexpected scheduling emergencies. • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand or walk for long periods and frequently lift or carry items. • Productivity & Communication: Clear verbal and written communication for reporting room statuses and tracking supplies.
