The Housekeeping Supervisor is primarily responsible for ensuring standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness are maintained throughout the hotel. This leader manages the housekeeping and laundry departments efficiently and controls costs by performing the following duties. Responsibilities: • Monitor and manage labor productivity and department costs, adhering to budgeted guidelines. • Respond promptly to guest concerns or requests related to housekeeping services. • Train, mentor, and motivate team members to promote a positive work environment and high performance. • Conduct inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to quality and cleanliness standards. • Oversee inventory and supply management, ensuring adequate stock levels while adhering to budget guidelines. Qualifications: • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. • Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. • Proficiency in property management systems and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook). • Previous housekeeping or supervisory experience is preferred but not required—we welcome applicants at all levels.
