Exciting opportunity to join our team at the Staybridge Suites by IHG as our Housekeeping Supervisor. The Housekeeping Supervisor directs the housekeeping department to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions of the establishment in accordance with corporate and franchise standards. Responsible for all aspects of the housekeeping function, including but not limited to supplies, linen, equipment, work orders, and other duties as assigned. The Housekeeping Supervisor leads our room attendants, laundry attendants and house persons. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the supervision of all housekeeping associates. Also, assists in the scheduling and training of all staff. • Acts as a liaison for the Assistant General Manager. • Responds to guests' requests and complaints concerning the housekeeping department. • Maintains an inventory of lost and found and coordinates with guest for prompt return of lost items. • Inspects guest rooms to ensure that the quality of work and hotel standards are maintained. • Maintains contact with the Front Desk and Sales. • Approves rooms for occupancy and notifies the front desk. • Participates in the Manager on Duty program. • Conducts monthly inventories of guest and housekeeping supplies. Also, place orders for all necessary equipment. • Maintains and issues housekeeping keys. • Ensures that staff are in adherence to hotel uniform/grooming standards at all times. • Performs other duties as assigned by management. • Must have reliable transportation and have exceptional attendance. • Must have a flexible schedule to meet the needs and demands of the hotel guests. Hotel operates 365 days a year and be able to work any day of the week. Qualifications: • Extensive knowledge of hotel housekeeping techniques. • Prior supervisory experience or multiple years of housekeeping experience. • Strong communication skills. • Compliance with IHG Way of Clean certificate required within 30-days of hire. Compensation: $17 - $18 hourly
