The Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the housekeeping team to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet established standards for cleanliness, safety, and hygiene. This role includes assigning daily tasks, inspecting rooms, training staff, managing inventory of linens and supplies, and addressing guest requests in a timely manner. Responsibilities: • Inspections: Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to ensure high-quality standards. • Staff Management: Schedule shifts, assign duties to housekeepers, and provide training and performance feedback. • Operational Oversight: Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and brand policies. • Inventory Control: Manage cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; coordinate repairs and inventory orders. • Guest Service: Address guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints promptly. Qualifications: • Experience: Previous experience as a hotel housekeeper, with at least 1–3 years in a supervisory role preferred. • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and time-management skills. • Physical Ability: Ability to walk, stand, lift, and bend for long periods. • Knowledge: Understanding of cleaning chemicals, sanitation protocols, and hotel software (e.g., Opera).
