Job Title: Houseman

Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Houseman to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality or housekeeping department, the Houseman will support the overall maintenance and cleanliness of our facilities, ensuring a high standard of service and comfort for our guests or residents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of common areas, corridors, and public areas, ensuring they are inviting and well-maintained.
- Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and ensure the efficient transportation of linens, supplies, and equipment.
- Support the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms, events, or banquets as needed, ensuring all areas are prepared according to specifications.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready and meet quality standards, including making beds, replenishing supplies, and cleaning bathrooms when necessary.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management of housekeeping supplies and report any shortages.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality or a housekeeping role is advantageous but not necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina for manual labor tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service-oriented mindset.
