About the Role:

Join Sanctuary House as a Mental Health Paraprofessional and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals who experience symptoms of serious mental illness. In this rewarding role on our Transition Management Service (TMS) Team, you'll provide housing support and guidance to clients while working alongside a dedicated team in a compassionate environment.

Components of this service include:

Assessment of: housing preferences, barriers to successful housing, needed social and independent living skills, identified resources to cover housing expenses, etc.

Individual Housing and Tenancy Sustaining Services

Money Management and Entitlements

Activities of Daily Living (ADL)

Personal Health, Wellness and Recovery

Promotion of Community Integration

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.

Minimum of two years professional experience working with adults who have a diagnosis of serious mental illness.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Knowledge of mental health principles and best practices.

Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to client well-being.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if needed.

CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
