As the lead agency in the HUD-funded Tulsa County Continuum of Care, we coordinate and manage over $3 million annually in federal, state, county, and city funds for programs providing shelter, housing, and services to people experiencing homelessness. One key project is the Tulsa Landlord-Tenant Resource Center, serving Tulsans interfacing with the legal system around eviction and foreclosure.
Objective/Purpose
The LTRC Court Liaison will serve as the main interface between our clients, facility staff, and the Tulsa County eviction court staff. Duties include the independent preparation of documents for distribution, filing legal paperwork with the court, facilitating clients’ attendance at court, distributing court-related paperwork, and updating LTRC records accordingly. Collaboration with attorneys, service providers, members of the court, and external community resources is essential to the role. This position requires excellent attention to detail, time management, computer skills, and strong customer service.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
- Engage in and support the daily communications and activities of the Landlord-Tenant Resource Center and Social Services HUB;
- Implement and participate in regional and national best practices for LTRC management and operational efficiency;
- Review and support proposed initiatives, projects and outreach efforts;
- Support the overall mission of Housing Solutions through an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the current issues and nuances surrounding eviction;
- Provide consistent information and documentation to all involved parties, as requested or as necessary;
- Manage all communication systems as related to the LTRC, including but not limited to email, voicemail and inquiries via the LTRC website;
- Work collaboratively with all Advisory Board members, committee members, colleagues, partnering organizations, and other regional and national CoC representatives;
- Advance and increase the effectiveness of all current LTRC initiatives and outcomes;
- Respond promptly to all incoming communications and requests for information;
- Facilitate client access to resources, including diversion opportunities and housing;
- Coordinate and monitor services, including comprehensive tracking of client activities in relation to care plan.
- Assist clients in identifying needs and making referrals to appropriate community partners.
- Document all client encounters and contracts made on behalf of clients and maintain comprehensive client files.
- Identify and provide referrals to emergency crisis services as necessary.
- Develop and maintain relationships with housing and social service providers
- Maintain and report applicable statistics regarding programs and client services.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, MSW preferred.
- 1-2 years experience in case management or some other closely related field preferred.
- Experience in working with low-income individuals, especially related to housing issues preferred.
- Experience working with an eviction diversion program preferred.
- A valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.

- Intermediate level of computer software programs specifically, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Records maintenance skills.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
Working Environment
The working environment will be a hybrid of work in the field and the office/home. This role will require taking clients to appointments in a personal vehicle. Will require some flexible hours for night and weekend events.
