Job Description

• Effectively use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design various project features.
• Prepare design computations and quantity estimates under the supervision of a licensed engineer.
• Assist in preparation of reports, specifications, plan creation, and permit applications.
• Interface with CAD designers and coordinate with other engineering departments on complex multi-discipline projects.
• Assist in client contact and communications.
• May include onsite construction observation duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, Biosystems Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with design team and clients.
• Superior problem solving and analytical skills.
• Solid communication and critical thinking skills, along with attention to detail.
• Positive attitude under pressure, strong team player, responsible and self-motivated.
• Valid Driver’s License and in good standing with periodic travel necessary for project meeting sand project management related activities.
