Job Description

HOUSTON ORAL SURGERY ASSOCIATES (HOSA) is seeking a qualified, problem solver and service oriented team member to lead its marketing and public relations efforts. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for building and executing marketing tactics geared at: Managing the HOSA brand in social media platforms and other digital channels; Building relationships with dentists/doctors and other referral sources; and Ensuring patient satisfaction.

Primary duties:

• Meeting with referring doctors to discuss patient care, referrals, new treatments, as well as thanking them for existing referrals;

• Helping dentists to build and maintain relationships with HOSA Surgeons to refer patients with confidence;

• Surveying local primary and specialty dentists to increase the number of patient referrals to our practice;

• Arranging public relations campaigns and awareness efforts;

• Manage social media channels and online presence by creating relevant content and managing day-to-day operation of different platforms.

• Build marketing campaigns as needed geared toward increasing dentist referrals, improving patient satisfaction, helping the communities we serve.

• Work closely with HOSA Surgeons and External Marketing Consultant to ensure that the marketing goals and philosophies of our practice are being met

Job Requirements:

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications or Healthcare Administration or prior experience of 2+ years in Healthcare Marketing

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.

• Self-starter with strong time-management, organizational and prioritization skills.

• Comfortable and effective in relating to doctors and other health care professionals.

• Must be a people person and have the ability to work with all types personalities in a variety of settings. Assertive and diplomatic in relating to people.

• Must have proficient knowledge of computer applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite and social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc). Able to actively manage online presence, creating content calendars and managing digital communities.

• Should be able to conduct basic database management functions and demonstrate effectiveness of various campaigns.

• Prior experience in the health care industry is a plus, but not required
