Want to Make a Difference this Summer?! The Houston SPCA has openings for Teachers and TAs at their Summer Critter Camp that will be held weekly from June 6 - August 5; Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Carruth Education Center located at the Houston SPCA, near Memorial Park. The weekly day camp is held for 9 weeks, so we ask for a minimum commitment of at least 3 weeks. We know everyone needs a break too! Each week there is a different grade level and theme, with lots of fun campus activities including visits to the equine center and adoption center, plus daily guest speakers from our veterinary team, animal cruelty investigations, animal care and much more. And it's CAMP, so games and crafts too! Join us in making a difference this summer by introducing Campers to the world of animal welfare with a TEKs-approved curriculum, while we show them how they can be Rescue Heroes for animals in their own communities!
