POSITION OVERVIEW
We are a start-up company that is disrupting the way the Real Estate industry works, from how we equip our agents to our pricing model. This role will contribute to the scaling of Houwzer's title operations as we continue to grow rapidly in the up and coming year. Our team's ultimate goal is to solidify our processes to ensure a smooth transaction experience for our agents and clients. We are looking for a team player who strives for efficiency and accuracy. WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF YOU
- Process, review for completeness, and organize the closing file.
- Order information for the upcoming closing.
- Schedule closings, obtain and review documents to satisfy lien holders, maintain the accuracy of files throughout the closing process.
- Manage the progress of the title work and facilitate corrections or issues to help maintain a timely closing.
- Prepare financial cost statements for closing.
- Prepare and submit closed loan or assumption packages, deposits, and disbursement documentation, recording packages and commission packages to the appropriate departments or entities.
ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Volunteer 50 hours per year
- Carry out duties in compliance with all federal and state regulations and guidelines
- Comply with all company and site policies and procedures
- Remain current in profession and industry trends
- Make a positive contribution by offering new suggestions for company or process improvement and learning new skills, procedures, and processes
- Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends as needed.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High school diploma plus one to two years of working in a title, real estate, mortgage, and/or customer service role.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Tech-savvy and familiar with CRM software and title applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to network in order to build your business.
- Great interpersonal and customer service skills that align with our mission and values.
- Strong project management skills and a strong attention to detail.
- The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs.
- Successfully complete any regulatory and job training requirements.
- Enter data accurately into a computer using software applications for data entry and word processing as assigned by the company.
- Advanced expertise in using the Google Suite of applications.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining the speed of work and attention to detail without loss to production.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, go up and downstairs, use a motor vehicle, be on feet for up to four hours, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
COMPENSATION
This is a non-exempt position with a base salary of $60,000.
