JOB SUMMARY

As a Data Analyst at Hoverstate, you will work on extracting data from the company’s business systems and transforming it into actionable format. Our goal is to bring efficiencies to the company, and to the products we create. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data science along with a desire to transform data into accessible, new insights. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Interpret data analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio, Power BI etc), databases (MySQL/Postgres/MSSQL etc),  programming (Python, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical tools for analyzing datasets (Excel etc)
• A degree in Mathematics, Computer Science Or Statistics
• Basic understanding of Machine Learning
