How to Cook a Wolf in Queen Anne is seeking a special individual who brings warmth and personality to our team, who has both industry experience and a desire to grow and learn with a team of dedicated hospitality professionals. We are a small, neighborhood restaurant with a wonderful regulars following and dependably strong year-round business. We have a bustling outdoor street cafe and full capacity indoor seating, and looking ahead to an already busy Spring and Summer on Queen Anne. We have fun on the floor, but first we are dedicated to the details of our operation so that we can have smooth services. We have a strong ethos of taking care of our team so that we can take exceptional care of our guests. This position would be ideal for a person who seeks to grow in the hospitality field, with potential for future promotion within the Ethan Stowell Restaurant group.

Requirements of the Server position:

Gracious, warm, friendly demeanor, with excellent customer service skills

Experience running a busy book and waitlist (Sevenrooms experience a plus, but not required)

Developing Food and Beverage knowledge (Interest in learning)

Wine study (Dedication to expand)

Hustle (We are small, but high volume)

Teamwork attitude (We all do everything)

Openness to coaching (We are all constantly improving)

Leadership skills (Taking ownership over the role)

Qualifications

Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer service principles and steps of service

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Have an interest in developing a broader knowledge of food, beer, wine, and spirits offerings

Valid Washington State Alcohol Server Permit
